Auditors had discovered fraud within the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) administered through the Louisiana Division of Administration (DOA), Office of Community Development (ODC), located in Baton Rouge.

On Tuesday, September 23rd, agents arrested Williams pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the 19th Judicial District Court on charges of Government Benefits Fraud and Filing False Public Records. Williams was booked without incident at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
