8/1/2025Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrest New Orleans man for 380 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, New Orleans Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations.
8/1/2025Ville Platte Police Officer arrested for Malfeasance in Office, Filing False Public Records, and Principal to Obstruction of Justice following investigation by Louisiana Bureau of Investigation
An officer with the Ville Platte Police Department was arrested as a result of an arrest warrant secured by Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation.
7/31/2025Attorney General Murrill sends letter to Congress about abortion pills being shipped to states where abortion is illegal
Attorney General Murrill has joined Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin and a coalition of 14 other state attorneys general in a multistate letter to Congress urging lawmakers to consider passing federal legislation to preempt pro-abortion States’ shield laws that attempt to protect those that ship abortion pills to States where abortion is illegal.
