Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents alongside our federal law enforcement partners rearrested a former member of the Louisiana National Guard for Production and Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

19-year-old Luxe Arlen Thomas, or Arceneaux Circle in Scott, was previously arrested by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) back in January for:

• 2 Counts of 14:81.1 -- Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material -- (Felony)
• 1 Count of 14:80.1 -- Misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile -- (Misdemeanor)
• 1 Count of 14:81 -- Indecent Behavior with Juveniles -- (Felony)
• 1 Count of 14:130.1 -- Obstruction of Justice -- (Felony)

Thomas was arrested on April 1, 2026, out of the Western District of Louisiana on the following federal charges:

• 18 USC 2251(a) - Production of Child Sexual Abuse Material
• 18 USC 2252A(a)(5)(B) - Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

As part of the ongoing investigation into Thomas, he was rearrested for federal violations of USC Title 18 by our agents who are assigned to Homeland Security Investigations Lafayette and Special Agents of Homeland Security Investigations.

So, this arrest was a result of a joint investigation with Homeland Security Investigations RAC Lafayette and The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation. 

Thomas was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail for these charges.

There's no word on his bond information.

Thomas was on orders with the Louisiana National Guard in a position assigned to HSI Lafayette. Louisiana National Guard was alerted to the investigation and immediately relieved Thomas of his duties when the charges came to light back in January. The Louisiana National Guard was fully cooperative during the investigation.
