Man from Slidell arrested by AG Murrill's Office for Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material and Sexual Abuse of an Animal
Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from Slidell on September 11, for a number of disturbing charges.
34-year-old Dominique Denzel Palmer, was arrested by agents for violating:
- LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Distribution of) Child Sexual Abuse Material under the Age of Thirteen (13); 8 counts
- LA R.S. 14:89.3 Sexual Abuse of an Animal; 3 counts
- LA R.S. 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice; 1 count
LBI agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which initiated our investigation.
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) Cyber Crime Unit, 22nd Judicial District ICAC Task Force, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Covington Police Department.
Once he was in custody, Palmer was transported to the St. Tammany Parish Jail for booking.
His bond information is not available at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
