Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) arrested a woman from Braithwaite, Louisiana, on multiple disturbing charges.

25-year-old Sarah Hannah Latapie, of Evans Street in Braithwaite, was arrested on September 8 for violating:

  • 22 Counts - LA RS 14:81.1 E(5)(a) - Child Sexual Abuse Material (under the age of thirteen)

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit and the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office.

"These types of cases are always disturbing for our LBI agents. I'd like to thank them for their dedication to getting justice for victims, along with deputies from the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office for helping us out on this case," said Attorney General Liz Murrill.

Latapie was booked into the St. Bernard Parish Prison.
