AG Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrest Bay St. Louis man for Indecent Behavior with Juveniles

Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, for Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.

32-year-old Brandon Joseph Bunol, of Chapel Hill Road in Bay St. Louis, was arrested on September 5, 2025, for violating:

  • 1 Count of LA RS 14:81 - Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
  • 1 count of LA RS 14:81.3 - Computer aided solicitation of a minor

Bunol engaged in inappropriate online communications with a juvenile from St. Tammany Parish.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, Hancock County Sheriff’s Office (Mississippi), and the 22nd JDC Special Victims Unit Task Force.

“No matter where you are, if you inappropriately communicate with our kids, we will hunt you down and bring you to justice. Great work by our Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Agents, District Attorney Collin Sims and his newly formed 22nd JDC Special Victims Unit Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office," said Attorney General Liz Murrill.

“Child predators often hide in plain sight, even in positions of trust and authority. This arrest is a clear reminder that no profession or title is above the law.  Our Special Victims Unit Task Force will continue to work relentlessly with our law enforcement partners to identify and remove those who seek to exploit children," said Collin Sims, 22nd Judicial District Attorney.

Brandon Joseph Bunol was booked into the St. Tammany Correctional Facility.

His bond information is pending assignment at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
