Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a Galliano man for Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material on August 15, 2025.

52-year-old Bronson Joseph Billiot, of West 214th Street in Galliano, was arrested for:

• 4 Counts 14:81.1E(5)(a) Child Sexual Abuse Material (Distribution) (Under the age of 13)

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest resulted from a joint investigation by General Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Billiot was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex.

His bond has reportedly been set at $50,000.00.

The investigation is ongoing.
