Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrest Lafayette man for Indecent Behavior with Juveniles and other charges
Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a Lafayette man for multiple charges on March 31, 2025.
29-year-old Lorenzo Demetrice Polite, who lived in an apartment complex on Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, was arrested for violating:
- 1 Count(s) of 14:81.1-- Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13 (Felony)
- 1 Count(s) of 14:81.3 Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor (Felony)
- 1 Count(s) of 14:81 Indecent Behavior with Juveniles (Felony)
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Lafayette Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Polite was transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center, where he was booked on the above-mentioned charges.
His bond was reportedly set at $50,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
