Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a man from Franklin on January 15, 2025.

25-year-old Tyrese Jacoby Hines, of Cayce Street in Franklin, was arrested for violating:

• 30 Counts - LA RS 14:81.1E(5)(a) Pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 (Felony)

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.

Hines was ultimately booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

No word yet on his bond information.
