Agents with Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a Westwego man on December 17, 2024.

37-year-old Robert Paul Maynard, of Avenue A in Westwego, was arrested for violating:

• LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Distribution of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; 88 counts

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Westwego Police Department.

Maynard was transported to the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and booked accordingly.

His bond information is not available at this time.
