Attorney General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrests Gonzales man for more than 100 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a Gonzales man on Wednesday, September 25, on multiple charges.
50-year-old Ricky Gill, of Creekside Drive in Gonzales, was arrested for violating:
- LA R.S. 14:81.1 Pornography Involving Juveniles, Under the age of 13 (Felony) 20 Counts
- LA R.S. 14:81.1 Pornography Involving Juveniles, Under the age of 17 (Felony) 100 Counts
- 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
This arrest was the result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.
Gill was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
