Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a Slidell teen on August 13, 2024.

17-year-old Hunter Jeffrey Puckett, of Brisbane Court in Slidell, was arrested for violating:

1. LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Possession of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; two (2) counts.

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Slidell Police Department. 

Puckett was transported to the Slidell City Jail and later to the St. Tammany Parish Jail.

There is no bond information at this time. 

The investigation is ongoing.
